Ngā Kanohi Kārearea – Te Mahere Whakahaere Taiao o Ngāti Kuia

This plan is grounded in whakapapa, mātauranga Māori and the lived responsibilities of Ngāti Kuia as Hunga Tiaki (Kaitiaki | Guardians). It provides a clear, values-based framework to guide the protection, restoration, and care of the taiao within Te Kupenga o Kuia, now and into the future. It also facilitates good decision-making in partnership with council, industry and other stakeholders. Ngā Kanohi Kārearea is a living document that will ensure future generations inherit a thriving taiao in line with Ngāti Kuiatanga.
