Postponement of Tuia i te hoki nei / Ngāti Kuia Weekend

Due to the damage caused by recent flooding in Te Tauihu, in particular the roading damage between Nelson and Marlborough, we have made the decision to postpone until early next year.

Although State Highway 6 is open, we are taking note of the call by Waka Kotahi to limit travel on this road and only travel when necessary.

• Significant road works are expected to continue for many weeks
• Travel delays are still expected
• State Highway 6 will be closed for repairs once an alternative route is available

We are also mindful that the Canvastown and Rai areas sustained major damage during the rain event and there is still a lot of repair work to return to pre-flood conditions.
