Our whanaunga Raniera Petersen is leading another Te Manawa o te Rākau Wānanga at Whakatū Marae. The second wānanga will be held from 2-4 August, followed by the final wānanga on 5-7 September. Spaces are available for whānau. Please contact vanya@ngatikuia.iwi.nz to secure a place. Roimata Sam said, “My whānau and I have loved participating in the Ngāti Kuia Taiaha Wānanga at Whakatū Marae. It has allowed us to gain new mātauranga Māori, increase our hauora, and stay regularly connected to our marae through the weekly mau taiaha sessions."
