Trust Meetings

Trust Board Meetings

Summary of trustee meetings

Open communication with our whānau is important to us. As Trustees, we want our members to understand the work being undertaken on behalf of Ngāti Kuia, while also recognising our responsibility to protect confidential information relating to commercial activities, negotiations and employment matters.

To support this balance, the Trustees have agreed to share a summary of each Trust hui once meeting processes have been completed and the information is ready for release.

Trust meetings usually cover:

  • Meeting formalities including mihi, karakia, apologies and conflict of interest declarations
  • Circular resolutions requiring confirmation
  • Approval of previous meeting minutes
  • Organisational and operational updates
  • Financial reporting and oversight
  • Commercial and investment matters
  • General business and Trustee updates

After each hui, a summary of key discussions, decisions and updates will be published below so that whānau can stay informed about the governance of our iwi.
