Kaitiaki Taiao - Kaiarotake
Ngāti Kuia is seeking a dedicated Kaitiaki Taiao – Kaiarotake to safeguard our whenua, taonga, and tikanga. This is a casual role for individuals in or near Mohua | Golden Bay and Whakatū | Nelson, for someone who has strong grounding in te ao Māori, is based in Mohua or Whakatū, is confident with karakia, tikanga and reporting, can work with archaeologists, contractors and iwi and is physically fit and tech-savvy.

Te Pā Wānanga o Ōmaka Marae is a kura reo Māori serving ākonga from Y0–8, deeply grounded in the identity and epistemology of Kurahaupōtanga and the whakapapa of Rangitāne, Ngāti Kuia, and Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō. They seek a visionary and competent leader in te reo Māori and Kurahaupōtanga to guide our kura through its establishment and beyond.
